ETUC study on working time reduction - Launch on 23 June at 14h in Brussels and online
On behalf of ETUC and FES, you are warmly welcome to attend the launch event for our recently finalised ETUC Study on Working Time Reduction in Collective Agreements on 23 June 14:00-16:00 CET. This study has been conducted under our ETUCLEX Project, and our launch will be co-organised together with the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung. The event will be taking place in Brussels (Belgium) and online. The working language will be English (no interpretation).
Please register via this link. For in-person participation, a light lunch will be served as of 13:00. The venue, agenda and video link will be communicated in the coming weeks. Please note that travel expenses will not be covered for participants.
At the day of the launch, the Study will be publicly available on the ETUC website in English and French.
The aim of our study has been to map and analyse existing collective agreements, to equip trade unions with supportive arguments, inspiring examples and concrete recommendations for the negotiations and implementation of working time reduction with no loss in pay.
The programme for our launch will include opening remarks from ETUC and FES, a presentation of the key findings from the study by our external contractor Autonomy Institute, as well as the sharing of practical experiences by a trade union representative from one of the in-depth case studies in our study. The contributions will be followed by a Q&A and discussion with policy experts and participants. A draft agenda will be circulated closer to the event.
