FRA Manual on labour rights of migrant workers in inspections

The EU Fundamental Rights Agency (FRA) has recently published a new training manual on labour rights of migrant workers in inspections.

Here is the link:

How workplace inspectors can protect third-country workers' rights – Training manual (FRA, 2024)

The manual is intended to help labour inspectors enforce the protective standards in EU law that safeguard the rights of third-country workers, including seasonal workers, migrant workers with temporary permits and migrants in an irregular situation. Labour inspections play a significant role in preventing and identifying labour exploitation.

With this manual, FRA seeks to inform inspectors about fundamental labour rights of migrants, outlining ways to effectively protect the rights of these workers in the context of inspections.
