On Friday, 11 February 2022, the EESC's FRRL Group, in cooperation with the European Commission, will organise a conference entitled "Safeguarding fundamental rights in the digital age".
The event will be centred on the Commission's annual report on the application of the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union, which this year focuses on fundamental rights in the digital age. The conference will particularly discuss the fundamental rights implications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the management of social media platforms.
