Taken for a Ride 2: Accelerating Towards Justice

The opening essay by Jason Moyer-Lee reviews and analyzes recent litigation and legislation around the world to combat misclassification, protect fundamental rights and to provide social protection, as well as the work that still needs to be done. The second section of this issue brief is a digest of key judicial decisions that have happened since the last issue. The last section summarizes existing legislation and regulation and provides further analysis regarding the on-going debates in the EU regarding a new directive.
